- the scene opens with beneath and Geroge - George is upset about beneath being outspoken -ms johnson visits with mama - ms johnson trashes there family and makes fun of ruth and beneath - Walter hasn't been to work for days now - Walter was going around sightseeing with the company car and is about to be fired -she wants Walter to step up - mama splits the money between benetha and walter   - Travis enters and is surprised to see his dad in a good mood -walter tells him everything will be okay and they will be rich

- mama and Walter get into a fight - ruth is ironing and sees benetha in the robe Asagi bought her - walker comes home very drunk and starts ranting to benetha and ruth -benethas other man George comes to pick her up for the theater. - while benetha is getting ready, Walter makes fun of George and lies to him about new york. - ruth and walter fight again but makeup right before mama comes home - Walter bothers mama over the money - Travis gets home and they all find out mama bought a house in a "white neigborhood" -Walter says his dreams have been butchered and storms out

- setting: the next morning - mama is washing down the kitchen area and benetha isn't very happy about it. - still all waiting for the check - Walter is still trying to work out this dream with his friend willy - Travis and bentha get into a fight - Ruth ended up being pregnant which is why she fainted -joseph comes back over and likes benetha but she doesn't feel the same - the mail man finally delivers the check which mama grabs so Walter cannot take it -Walter then finds out about ruths child - ruth doesn't wanna cause more trouble and wants to abort it. - walter walks out.

life goals 1) play college hockey 2) travel on a massive road trip 3) just keep going and work though it 4) mama because i don't give in easily. 5) id feel trapped and id always want to explore the outside world.

setting: The younger living room. the narrator talked about the furnishing, talks about the old look of the room. the house was built for use not looks. time: between ww2 and present place: Chicago southside characters: Walter, Walter lee, ruth, Travis,  Beneatha, mama reactions/ thoughts - they try to fix their financial place with a payout after their dad died - they had 10000 dollars to spend and it was down to mama on how it would be split up. - ruth and walters relationship was strained

Group 2 logan loki patric 1. What has this group done well? They made the story very obvious although they could use more emotion. It was kind of boring because its lacking a main emotion. 2.
