For city of stars I would stage it in a small italian village near maybe a water source but the winding roads and tall, uniform apartments.Its nighttime around 7-8 pm.   Its would be raining and maybe a few street lights. shes alone and looking up at the sky.

I recorded the performance and helped stage. You can't do anything behind the camera without being criticized by hannah. You also cant breath Our strengths were definitely emotions and the tone of the scene was good. Some challenges was just blocking. Groups Skateboard 2.0 Everything was pretty good but i felt as if there was deadspace. They could probably move around the space more City of stars I still feel as this performance fit pacifica more than brooklyn. Overall i think it was good. Probably could be a little louder and even though the umbrella helped tell a story it was a little awkward.

I’ve decided to do Kylies monologue from beauty and the beast. I honestly loved this performance but i think it could have been a bit better if she had a little more time to prep. For costuming i think i would definitely keep her pretty close to the movie. Probably a blue springy dress with a white apron. I wouldn't focus on the shoes because she's walking on dirt and stone roads. As a simple girl I wouldn’t give her any jewelry or bling but maybe a straw hat or bonnet. For props i would definitely have her carrying a bag of some sort probably canvas. Maybe a loaf or bread given to her by the baker and some small leather back books. For sounds I would personally put the sounds of a bustling town and the murmur of people but keep it just as background sound so it does not overpower the speaker. Set design for this piece might be a little difficult because in a town there's a lot of elements that are hard to portray in 2D. I would probably make a few shops that are free sta...

The costume designer is the person in charge of designing, making, and fixing all the costumes for a play. You make sure that every actor that walks onto the stage has the articles of clothing appropriate to the director’s vision, and yours. What this means is either finding or constructing all of these pieces of clothing, jewelry, hats, etc. and making sure that the actors both look good and feel comfortable. Sometimes this job can be making certain kinds of props (especially fabric related ones or certain accessory-type objects). How big or small this job depends a lot on the size of the production, the type of the play, the director’s creative interpretation of the play, and the quality and quantity of the help you get.

I really enjoyed the song-a-log project alot. I chose a song that meant alot to me. When I was in middle school I was constantly bullied for everything I did and this song and music in general helped me get through everything. I always tried to change myself to fit other peoples labels they would put on me and it would always end up with me being so upset. I did my project on the song Paper Doll because it is one of my all time favorites because it's about a girl who stands up for herself. My strengths in this project were definitely memorization because of the fact that this song has alot of meaning for me. My weakness for this presentation was definitely blocking. Blocking was challenging for this monologue because you wanna get your point across but you don't want to be over dramatic.
