The bug that irks you, the yellow butterfly that catches your eye, and the furred thing with sharp teeth that repels you -- are all in your moment of history. I say drop a mouse into a poem and watch him probe his way out or walk inside the poem’s room and feel the walls for a light switch what i thought was interesting- i really liked how both authors used many analogies and used a lot of visuals to help compel the poem onto the reader.  what do they mean- the first poem is about conquering your day and your life as a whole. to not back down over challenges but also take time to reflect. the second one talks about poems and what they are trying to say. it talks about how it can be challenging to understand poetry. quotes above Both of the poems are more upbeat and are like someone is lecturing you about the art of yourself and poetry.

https://youtu.be/JJ1LiNtdC8Y i think i did pretty well. i projected well and i didn’t go to fast. i spoke clear enough but still kept the emotion. i need to improve on blocking. i tend to get distracted and stray from my plans which make it harder to focus on my monologue. other than that it was good i think. i thought memorization would be a challenge but i think i did pretty well.    i think the class conveyed emotion in the monologue very well.    i think we need to work on projection and just being louder.

  i ts almost my time guys!! Mr. storm got bored and decided to move to another state and mother said I can go out and show my true colors. So here i ammmm! It's my first time guys so maybe my sister might come out with me for a bit so I don't get nervous and fade away. im going to be in the breeze listening to the birds sing and dance. I think everyones gonna love me guys! My sister says when she looks down she sees everyone taking pictures of her. Like a movie star! One day i will be big and bold and beautiful but today we are just starting small. Maybe if you're lucky you'll find my gold but you must search hard. Small red hair men guard my treasure so they say. I’ve never actually seen them but who really knows right? Mother (nature) has always told me im there for people on their worst days and i can make people happy.  I always come after the hardest storms to remind people to never lose hope. I chose the rainbow for what represents me. A rainbow is both soft but bold at the same time. It forms after the darkest of storms to show it gets better. its a reminder that life keeps going. Im also part of the lgbtq+ community and it represents pride and resiliance. Its a good reminder to keep going and own who you are.
